With the vision of making crypto accessible to the average, everyday person and easy to use in everyday life, CryptoSpend launched the first Australian native crypto Visa card in late 2021. Since then, we have seen incredible growth with users being able to spend their crypto like cash, anywhere, anytime.

CryptoSpend was founded in 2018 by Andrew Grech and Richard Voice, two friends who met at UTS (University of Technology Sydney). Confronted with the issue of having no way to easily access or use their crypto, they embarked on a crazy mission to make crypto more simple and accessible to everyone. After the initial launch of the app in 2020 and the CryptoSpend Visa Card in 2021, thousands of Aussies have started using their crypto on a daily basis, for groceries, restaurants, online shopping, food delivery services, paying bills, etc.
We started CryptoSpend with the simple mission of simplifying crypto, taking it from weird internet money to an everyday currency. For the next few years, we will continue building products our customers love, giving people more control over their money and providing support to those who are just getting started on their crypto journey.
Our team is made up of passionate individuals who all believe in the same thing: make crypto easy and accessible. We are all doing our best to provide our customers with the best crypto experience and keep building incredible products.
